2025 Student Council

Last Wednesday Student Council met to discuss areas that students would like improved in the school.  Student Council Representatives will return to their year levels to ask for other student ideas to bring to our Week 8 meeting.  

REP Card Swap

Week 7 - POPCORN MANIA - Thursday 13th March

This term students have the opportunity to swap  REP cards for a colourful, sweet or salty bag of popcorn.  Student Council and Kitchen Op students are helping to prepare and serve.  We are looking forward to seeing students enjoy the rewards of their hard work in class and demonstrating expected behaviours.

REP Behaviour Focus:

Each week we explicitly discuss and teach a behaviour focus to highlight our expectations at Stanthorpe State High School. At last week's Behaviour Expectations Analysis Team (BEAT) meeting, behaviour data was reviewed and the next 4 week focusses are:

Week 6: Prepared - Arrive with a learning mind set  

Week 7: Respect - Respect others’ personal space, rights and property 

Week 8 - Engaged - Meet all assessment checkpoints.
